WEDNESDAY- LUNCHES AFTER MASS

14th September next Wednesday, weather permitting, we’ll have Mass in the garden, and then join us for Lunch (either in or outdoors!)

ALTAR SERVERS GUILD OF ST. STEPHEN

We’ll soon be recruiting new Altar Servers for our Parish. Minimum requirement is that boys and girls should have made their First Holy Communion. There is no maximum age limit! There will be a short training programme and we hope to enrol our new Members on The Feast of St. Stephen (26thDecember). AFTERNOON COACH TOUR OF CHESTER AND VILLAGES – THURSDAY 22nd SEPT

Leaving St John’s Church lay-by at 1.15 pm.

This will be a gentle journey of discovery of places on our doorstep. There will be a tea and cake stop at a local garden centre. £6 per person. Especially suitable for those who can’t do too much walking!

HARVEST FESTIVAL 25th SEPTEMBER

We are collecting donations of food – tins and packets – for the SVP to give to families that need a little help. All donations welcome but especially on 25th when children will be invited to bring the offerings at the 10.45 Mass as part of Children’s Liturgy.
